アブストラクト：We will review, from the ground up, the classical theory of solenoids (i.e., inverse limits of covering maps of the circle), culminating in the classification theorem by Bing and McCord.

タイトル： Recent developments on the transverse dynamics of solenoids

アブストラクト：

We will review recent developments relating to the transverse dynamics of weak solenoids, i.e., inverse limits of covering maps between compact manifolds. We will provide a brief sketch of the study by Lukina and Hurder of the prime spectrum before presenting new results by Lukina and the author on the dynamic subgroup growth of solenoids.
